Today is Match Day! All across the United States, fourth-year medical students find out where they will be going for their residency training. It’s intense. It’s exciting. I’ve always said that Match Day is filled with the entire spectrum of raw human emotion.
Kudos to the med students this year and last year that had to do their interviews remotely because of the pandemic. Some are relocating to places for the next 3-7+ years that they have never, ever visited. And, many Match Day celebrations have had to be virtual.
Cheers to our world’s future physicians! Today marks the culmination of many years of hard work and sacrifice. We are proud of you!
This physical memento is a little ”peace” button in your honor… to be included in the art mosaic. You make the world a better place.
With gratitude,
Emily Hagn, MD
